Hipstern, Konstfackstjejen och Modebloggaren
(The Hipster, The Konstfackgirl and the Fashion blogger), 2009

Mixed textile, textile print, textile, paint, wood and paper.

Agora:Internet was an exhibit by three students from Konstfack in Stockholm- Anna Nordström, Anna Hedström and Johanna Friedman. As basis for the exhibition, all three had more or less had their starting-point in the book Kallocain by Karin Boye but then later moved on to the Internet and its role in society to find inspiration. The exhibit has had its focus on the idea of Panopticon and how the dread and fear of the control tower with its guarding eye today seems to have been replaced by a narcissistic wish to be seen and looked upon constantly.
Fashion blogs, hipsters, Facebook, the law of FRA and Ipred will here be portrayed in different shapes and narrative textiles with a lot of seriousness and humor.

The exhibit was shown at ShowKonstfack and could be seen 24 hours a day.
